We honeymooned at Qamea in August , and loved it so much that on the plane home we decided to return for our 10 year anniversary. We made it in October , and had a trip that was probably even better than the first! Our honeymoon was largely cloudy which didn't stop us from having a fabulous time , but this time we had sunshine all week.
We went snorkeling, ate delicious food, lazed around our private hot tub and pool at the Royal Beach House, and had the most relaxing vacation ever. We used the meal plan, which was a great choice. When you arrive at the beautiful open-air but covered restaurant for breakfast, there is a continental buffet you can eat from, and one of the wonderful staff members will quickly bring you the day's menus. You order your breakfast, two-course lunch, and three-course dinner at breakfast , and then when you arrive for lunch and dinner your first course appears within minutes.
The most phenomenal thing about Qamea, as always, is the staff. They are friendly, kind, accommodating, and they all know your name within 24 hours. The grounds of the resort are beautiful, with a high degree of privacy between bures even in the Beachfront bures, which aren't THAT far apart, they're angled such that you can't see any other bures from your front porch.
